How To Apply
Admission Procedures:
Any man who has been clean (not intoxicated or taking drugs) and is earnest in his desire to receive help to change from an addictive lifestyle may apply to the Victory Center for admission to the Center’s Program. Priority will be given to those that show a strong desire to change.

Initial application is by way of a “Letter of Interest” written personally by the applicant in hand writing or typed indicating why they feel that they would be good candidates for the program and detailing the following personal information:

Complete name and address

Telephone number where you can be reached

Age

The date you are available to enter the program

A “Letter of Reference” from someone you know who can vouch for your sincerity and desire to change your lifestyle must be received directly from your reference by mail or in person. This person could be a pastor, chaplain, teacher or some other mentor or worker with whom you are personally acquainted.

The “Letter of Interest” and the “Letter of Reference will be evaluated by the Director of the Center and both the reference and the applicant will be contacted by Center personnel. Those applicants meeting the Center’s criteria will be invited to come to a personal interview with Center personnel.

The decision on acceptance to the program will be made by the Director of the Center, the Director of Bridges of Canada and the Director of Operations and their decision is final.

Personal interviews are not to be interpreted as automatic acceptance into the program.

A current CPIC (Canadian Police Information Centre) report is required before admission.

Men who require medical attention cannot be accepted into the program because we are not equipped to meet special medical needs. A current medical report is a prerequisite to acceptance to the program.

Applicants accepted to the program will be notified by telephone and mail and will have to accept all the terms and conditions of the “Residency Program Agreement” and make initial payment of all fees and costs as set out in the “Fee Schedule”.

No one will be admitted to the program simply by just showing up at the center.

To supply your own toilet articles, towels, work clothes and casual clothes, if possible., however we do provide these necessities to those without.

Approved applicants must learn all General House Rules before residency.

Fee Structure:

Entry Fee - $ 220 Including $ 20 Overcomers Book

Program Fee - $ 450.00 per month (Includes food, lodging, books, laundry and program materials)
