Fredericton Community Chaplaincy
Al Ingraham - Male Chaplain Al Ingraham is Fredericton's Community Chaplain. Al ministers to inmates and their families, the homeless, drug addicts and alcoholics providing them with spiritual support and counselling, food, and clothing and the way to enjoy a life of purpose and meaning. He also partners with other chaplains in the other major cities in N.B. Al teaches an overcomers group (about 15 people) every Wednesday night at the Victory Center in Fredericton, NB and is involved in 'Operation Blessing', dinners for those less fortunate. Al supervises the Bridges of Canada food distribution centre for inmate's families, ex-offenders and their families, and to other prison ministries in the Atlantic region and beyond. Al also tries to visit Provincial Jails and Federal Prisons in Saint John, Madawaska, Renous, Dorchester, Westmorland and Springhill, N.S. twice a month as time permits. He also works in organizing prison crusades and gospel singspirations. What has qualified Al for this Ministry? His life as a former alcoholic living on the streets and in shelters and the saving and empowering grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ came into Al's life several years ago and is daily transforming him, the way the Lord has done in the lives of countless others, who have made Christ Lord of their lives. Al is a living witness to what God can do in a life submitted to his Lordship. This Ministry is responsible and accountable to Bridges of Canada Inc. founded by Reverend Monty Lewis and covets your prayers. May God richly bless you! |
