BarNone Camp Coordinators for Summer 2012

Adam Lewis

Adam Lewis began summer camp at BarNone when he was six years old and after 22 years he still feels there is no place he would rather be. Over the past several years Adam has been involved at BarNone as coordinator, camp counsellor as well as cook and maintenance worker. As Adam says, "The part that tops it all is to be able to share God's love with the children, the same love that was shown to me throughout my life. With the help of God and those around us lets make a change today for a brighter tomorrow and have some fun in the process!"

Laura Lyons

Laura Lyons is a 26 year old recent graduate of Kingswood University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian School Education with a Global Ministry minor. Her experience in working with children includes teaching Sunday School, teaching and tutoring elementary aged children in both Christian and public schools, helping out in an orphanage in Mexico, working in various teen camps across the United States and Ontario, and working at Bar None Camp for a total of seven summers. During her time at Bar None, she has served as a counselor, a member of the worship band, and assistant to the director. Laura has a passion for sharing God's love with others and is very excited to be returning to Bar None as a director this summer. Laura's interests include meeting new people, traveling, foreign languages, playing music, and theatre arts.
