BarNone Family Camp

Our Beginnings:

BarNone Camp was officially opened in May 1994, as a camp committed to providing a camping experience for children of ex-offenders.  The ministry has grown and now reaches out to "youth at risk", disadvantaged children as well as many children from the general public. 

In 2011 BarNone Camp officially opened for year round rental of facilities for retreats for men, women, youth, families and church groups as well as for meetings and conferences.

Camp Focus:

BarNone primarily reaches out  to disadvantaged and underprivilaged children, and youth. We use camping as a means of reaching these often forgotten and overlooked treasures of our communities with the message of the incredible love of God. We are committed to helping our campers find direction by teaching life skills and through wise and informed decisions.

BarNone also reaches out to communities by hosting organizations and groups, impacting lives for the glory of God by showing them the love of Jesus.

Camp Facilities:

The heart of our facilities is our lodge, a spacious two story fully winterized building with a walk-out basement. The lodge has an ample dinning/meeting room that can seat up to 100.  We are able to host groups of  up to 34 overnight in the lodge. The lower level, fully renovated, has a large fireside room, an office, utility rooms, a canteen and two washrooms.
